In order to help us better treat our patients through a holistic, complete care approach, New Start Inc. offers the following programs:

• Treating Families in Need:
  We provide treatment for families of a chemically dependent individuals. Our programs help families identify and adjust to the needs of the dependent family member as well as their own needs.
• Traumatic Brain Injury:
  Our professionals treat all aspects of this multi-diagnosis simultaneously, and provide support through each stage of recovery. We also address and study the physical and cognitive consequences of brain injury and its relationship to psychiatric and chemical dependency disorders, developing intricate rehabilitation plans for each individual.
• Residential Services:
  In the newly developed concept, each patient is evaluated for the type of structured living most suitable to meet his or her needs. Each is then placed in a one or two bedroom apartment to diminish negative peer influence. Distinctive staff/client matching provides role modeling and emotional support. This semi-independent concept places the responsibility for rehabilitation in the client's hands while providing some monitoring and supervision to assist with program compliance.
• Eating Disorders:
  We provide comprehensive treatment services for eating disorders - such as Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia. The goal is to help the client overcome the addictive cycle of disordered eating, and deal with the underlying problems.
• Sexual Trauma Treatment:
  Counseling services are offered to survivors of sexual trauma. Our professionals will facilitate the healing process by determining the most appropriate course of treatment.
• Seminars in Chemical Dependency:
  Presentations and dynamic educational seminars on a variety of topics are offered to professionals, employers, schools, families, and the courts
