In a constant effort to provide encouragement and hope for our challenging patient population, the day treatment program offers variety of services de-signed to enhance skills needed for transition to a more independent life style. Another Step Forward operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The program is open to patients in residential care and those residing independently.

Initial Clinical Assessment determines the appro-priateness for engaging patients in this level of care and recommends an individualized treatment approach most suitable to meet their needs.

Another Step Forward provides the following services:

• Cognitive/Educational therapies
• Behavior management
• Social Skills development Building Boundaries and Communication Skills
• Vocational/Academic Assistance
• Occupational Therapies Simulated work and ADL’s related training Money management
• Physical Exercise Relaxation Therapy and Massage therapy
• Arts/Crafts & Music Therapy
• Various in-house and community social activities
• l2-Step recovery groups
• Medical, Psychiatric, Neuropsychological services and Nursing care available on an as needed basis

All programming is provided by highly qualified professionals including; peer counselors, occupational therapists, addictions treatment counselors, speech/language pathologists, social workers, physical therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, nursing/medical care as well as vocational specialists. Patients involved in services provided by Another Step Forward experience valuable personal growth and overall enrichment in quality of their lives.
